Alright, we’re back at it—Music Mondays with Fly KP, and I’ve been digging into the hottest new music so you don’t have to. This week, I’ve got a short but fire list for y’all, and trust me, each one of these is worth a spin.
🎤 Tyler, The Creator – Don’t Tap the Glass
Let me start by saying this: I haven’t been this excited for a Tyler album in a long time. His new project Don’t Tap the Glass is crazy dope—raw, creative, and 100% on brand for Tyler. He’s in his own lane as always, bending genres and playing by his own rules. You get that signature weird, wild, wonderful Tyler vibe, and I’m loving every track. If you’re a fan or just Tyler-curious, run this one immediately.
🎺 Juvenile, B.G., Jacquees & Trombone Shorty – Hot Boy Summer
Now this collab caught me off guard—in the best way. Juvenile and B.G. link up with Jacquees and Trombone Shorty for a surprising summertime anthem called Hot Boy Summer. It’s got that New Orleans bounce meets smooth R&B with live brass energy. An unexpected combo, but it works. This one’s for BBQs, rooftop vibes, and late night drives.
🔦 Local Artist Spotlight – Santana City
This week, I gotta put the spotlight on Santana City, who just dropped the deluxe version of his album The Crown is Always Ready as Soon as You Find the Courage to Wear It. Yeah—the title alone is heavy, and the music backs it up.
His latest single Hellcats & SRTs features Jvmpman Luchi outta Flint, Michigan. The whole project is a vibe. Santana switches things up track to track—balancing social commentary, emotional depth, and street energy without missing a beat. He’s got a unique flow and vivid lyrics that cut through. Santana’s showing he can do it all.
That’s the wrap for this week’s Music Mondays with FlyKP. Go ahead, queue these up, let me know what you’re feeling, and if I missed something you think is fire—hit me up.
