REPORT: EMINEM'S EX WIFE KIM TOOK PILLS AND CUT HERSELF IN SUICIDE ATTEMPT: According to a 911 call, Eminem's ex wife Kimberly Scott swallowed pills and cut herself in a suicide attempt on July 30th. According to The UK Sun, the female caller claimed that Kim swallowed "a bunch of pills" and ws bleeding in the bathroom. The caller also stated that Kim was yelling for her not to call the authorities and let her know that she wrote a note. She said, "She had the door locked, and she wouldn’t let me in. And I kept telling her, ‘I’m coming in, I’m coming in.’ I broke the handle off, and she was laying on the floor.” The caller continued, "I don't know I just ran out, I have someone in there with her," the woman added. "There's blood everywhere on the bathroom floor… And she was laying on the floor saying, 'Don't call the police, don't call the police.'" Kim's suicide attempt occured the day after her mom's funeral.
LIL WAYNE IS WORKING ON THREE NEW ALBUMS: During a recent conversation on Twitter Spaces, Young Money president Mack Maine has revealed that Lil Wayne is working on three new albums. The first album is I Am Not A Human Being III. The second project is the second installment of Wayne and 2 Chainz's joint project ColleGrove. The third project is a suprise collaboration with Rich the Kid.
MEGAN THEE STALLION SAYS LABEL IS TRYING TO BLOCK BTS COLLABORATION: Megan Thee Stallion has claimed that her record label 1501 Certified Entertainment and its founder Carl Crawford are trying to prevent her from releasing a collaboration with BTS — a remix to their hit "Butter." The song is slated to drop on Friday (August 27th). Megan says the song will grow her international fanbase but her label doesn't think the song will be good for her career. Megan says it’s just an excuse to force her to pay them six figures and sign off on the song’s release. Back in march 2020, Megan was granted a court order prohibiting 1501 and Carl Crawford from blocking the release of her new music. Megan says the label's latest move is in violation of the order and wants a judge to intervene so she can release the track on time.
DOJA CAT DOESN'T LIKE PHOTO USED IN 'INTERVIEW' MAGAZINE: Doja Cat is not too happy about an image that Interview Magazine decided to use for a featured spread. She tweeted about the photo, "I wonder why magazines don’t allow the people they shot to approve pictures I don’t think I’ll ever get used to this and i’m low key done doing mag shoots cuz," She added, "Everything else was incredible and I’m obsessed but that one picture is taking me the f*ck out. Add it to the meme gallery." Meanwhile, Doja was interviewed by Missy Elliott and discussed how she feel about her rap career. She said, "When it comes to rap, I could be better. I think everybody feels that way with their own art, in all kinds of ways. But I see all these incredibly talented rappers around me, and I’m like, 'Yeah, I’m doing pop, but I should focus on my pen now more than ever.' I’m good, and I can be funny and charming, and I can do little punchlines here and there, but I need to talk about my life more, and about what’s going on."
BUSTA RHYMES GOES ON ANTI MASK RANT: A video of Busta Rhymes going on a rant against masks and COVID-19 safety protocols. Busta said in a video, “This is my second show in front of human life in the last 15 f*cking months/ COVID could suck a d*ck.” However, while his introduction might be relatable, the rest of his speech turned out to be pretty irresponsible. “All these little weird-ass government policies and mandates… suck a d*ck!” He continued, “Stop trying to take our civil liberties away… No human being is supposed to tell you [that] you can’t even breathe freely! F*ck your mask.”
FUTURE ANNOUNCES HAITI BENEFIT CONCERT FOLLOWING DEADLY EARTHQUAKE: Future has announced a concert to benefit Haiti after the country was hit with a deadly earthquake earlier this month. The concert wil be at Oasis Wynwood in Miami on September 3rd. Tickets go on sale on August 25th.
KID CUDI MOURNS THE LOSS OF HIS DOG: Kid Cudi took to Instagram to reveal his dog Freshie has died. He said, "Life has been one hell of a rollercoaster this whole time. Freshie was with me through it all every day. He loved me. He really did. He came up and licked me if I was crying, he loved to lay in bed w me, he was always by my side or close by."
