Drake has seemingly reignited his beef with Kanye West after it was reported that the two had squashed their issues. On Saturday (August 21st), Trippie Redd dropped his new track "Betrayal" which features Drake, who rapped on the song, “All these fools I’m beefin’ that I barely know/ 45, 44 (burned out), let it go/ Ye ain’t changin’ s— for me, it’s set in stone." The two are currently in the process of releasing new albums.
Kanye's friend and collaborator Consequence responded to the jab, saying, “F— a betrayal. It’s the disrespect for me dawg." He added, “Wit Trippie Redd shotgun. Respect my team. It’s party time.”
According to Rap-Up, Kanye seemingly responded by posting and quickly deleting a screenshot of his group chat on Instagram, which featured a photo of actor Joaquin Phoenix in his Joker movie makeup. He wrote, “I live for this. I’ve been f—ed with by nerd a– jock n—-s like you my whole life. You will never recover. I promise you."
